Okay,

Here is a new game. This time I made all the riddles myself. Good luck.

Rules

  • 2 guesses between each daily update. I’ll try to post them around the same time every day, between 1900 and 2200 GMT.
  • your 2 Guesses can be made in 1 post, or in 2 different posts, no restrictions on that.
  • You can guess any number you want, just call the number and the capital in your post. (WRONG: 1 and 3 are Brussels and Amsterdam. RIGHT: 1 is Brussels, 3 is Amsterdam)
  • If you edit a post before I count, the post doesn’t count, and it costs you 1 guess of the day. (if your guesses of the day were before the edited post, no problem)
  • Once we approach the end of the game, Rapid Fire is implemented. No limit in amount of guesses, only rule: before your next guess, wait for me to right or wrong the previous one.

So, question: How strict am I going to be?

On the one hand, I want to disaprove one of the answers, which is close but not all there, on the other, it’s only a game.

You all decide how I am going to call these ‘almost’ answers.

If it’s the one I think it is, I would suggest it is wrong, as it is missing several words, one of which had a dedicated emoji.

If it was something subtlety different, such as guessing “Suicide Squad” instead of “The Suicide Squad” and you hadn’t put up an emoji for “The”, then I would suggest that get marked as correct.

I agree with Stephen. I’d add that I’d count an answer that uses the wrong form of a word as okay, especially given language differences.

Ah, this is probably because of me.

I translated the title for 32 (which I know in Swedish) back to English and thought the title was correct, I could have googled to be 100% sure, so I’m definitely at fault here.

On the other hand, it is very obvious which movie I meant, it’s close enough for that and not confusable with another one

Yep, I would agree that guess is close enough; so close I didn’t even realise you hadn’t got it quite right until your post just now!

It was a different movie guess I was referring to when I posted my thoughts lol

Yeah, it was about @Sillsallad , and I’ll approve. The one Stephen means (I guess) will not be approved.

Next question: last game we had a lot of people whose numbers came out wrong, now it happens to @grondmaster .

Any objections if I give him/her the chance to correct the number, since (s)he didn’t play last time?

I’m also for giving Grondmaster a chance to correct, it’s obviously the same poltergeist playing with numbers again. Maybe you should put up a warning with the rules?
