This could be food, a movie, a place, etc.
Kittens!
Other than that, Tim Minchin’s music is a mood boost, as are clips of Taskmaster and Whose Line Is It Anyway?
My husband’s bad jokes help as well.
My 3 year old realised I was feeling a bit under the weather and asked me if I was ok. I told him I was fine and that I just had a little cold to which he replied:
“OK Daddy, I love you. Do you feel better now?”
And do you know what? I did.
Tiny paws for sure! Oh yes, Whose Line Is it Anyway is great, and Minchin’s songs are a lot of fun.
That’s so sweet.
It works every time too
Chocolate milk. Kitty snuggles.
A sunny day. Nice bike rides, walks, or rollerblading outside.

Movie nights with my partner. Whenever one of us is down, we bring out the silly movies for a mood boost. Works like a charm.
I love this so much. Kids are wonderful.
The movie Mama Mia.
besides the things already mentioned (kittens, movie night etc): reading. No matter how sad/mad I am, whenever I read I feel better.
Books are awesome that way, it’s true.
Oh gosh. That’s definitely a mood lifter. goes to put on the soundtrack
Any faves?
There’s a lot that I find generally uplifting – I never really need to go looking… but I think this excerpt embodies two particular samples that get a lot of mileage.
“I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, “what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?”

Books and upbeat music, sunshine, and my four grandkids! Two of them live about 1,000 miles away from me, so I only get to see them in person about once a year, but we FaceTime fairly often, and I love that. The other two moved closer to me a few months ago, so I get to see them in person at least once a month!
My digital piano. I bought it in December 2019, and a few months later, i was really glad i had it!
It varies. But How To Train Your Dragon, the original Star Wars trilogy, and old Disney animated films are favorite comfort watches of ours.
