Beloved Butch sharing a book with my mom. Both waiting for me at The Rainbow Bridge.
And Icarus is an ex-stray. He gets very excited any time he’s presented with something that looks like a mouse…
I needed that laugh! Thank you!
You’re welcome. I thought it was hilarious.
7th of March, 2022. Little Sammy (named Baghira at this point) yet again on his way to his new family. Even though he’s only 8 months, this is going to be his fourth home. Poor guy, no one wanted to keep him.

The non-so-little-anymore Sammy during playtime with his hooman and his brother. We’re never going to pass you on to another family
Happy gotcha-day Sammy!
If Morecambe and Wise were cats…
Another day, another celebration!
Happy birthday Leo!
Two years ago Leo was born in Calheta, Madeira. His mum was the garden cat in a time shared house, the cat was no one’s and everyone’s responsibility. The kittens were an annoyance, and were going to be left on their own when they were old enough.
We took in baby Leo when he was 10 weeks, sparing him the life as a Madeiran street cat (there are already so many…and most of them are very sick )
Instead, Leo turned into a li’l sailor cat, exploring the seven seas. Birds = cool, dolphins and other whales = uninteresting.
Now he’s a full time couch potato, instead of riding waves he chases Sammy, cuddles with the Silly Salad and sleeps. Just like a cat should do
Hip hip hooray - to Leo!
Happy Birthday to the beautiful Leo!
The kittens experienced snow! The paw print is Void’s, and Vortex explored a tiny, before deciding against it. They’re now both curled up together in the enclosed cat bed.
Some pics of the kitties–and Athena–that my mom took. the second pic was edited as a wallpaper for her, hence the resolution.
Just sent this pic to my boss (also a cat person) with the caption "I don’t think I will be able to go to work today "
He follows us into the bathroom, jumps on the counter, and waits for us to turn on the sink.
He was quite mad when maintenance fixed the leak in the bathtub (there was a steady, tiny stream of water coming out of the faucet thanks to a bad gasket, and that meant Sammy could have faucet water whenever he wanted. Despite him knowing how to turn faucets on.)
Sammy looking really cute hoping for some Steakum scraps from lunch. Of course he got them. How can you resist that face? Lol
