White chocolate is the antichrist (and not real chocolate, IMO)
Dark chocolate covered cherries are the absolute best candy ever invented.
As for why, personal preference for the richer taste of dark chocolate over milk chocolate; although as Iāve gotten older --approaching the tail end of middle ageāI donāt tend to want chocolate as much. Iāll always want dark chocolate covered cherries, though.

Most chocolate things are too rich for me and I donāt like the bitterness of dark chocolate so I only really like the super milky stuff. I donāt mind white chocolate but I donāt go out of my way to find it either.

Sometimes I might feel more like dark, sometimes milk, sometimes even the vanilla flavour of white; but if ever you need to get rid of any (non-US) chocolate, Iāll be your garbage disposal

Im not opposed to chocolate/cocoa itself as a flavor but Im not really a sweet person. So i like some very dark chocolate but most chocolate contexts are too sweet for my taste.

Milk chocolate fan, but I have encountered some kinds of chocolate that I did not enjoy. Some imported budget chocolates have a dusty ācocoaā flavour that isnāt nice. Hershey kisses (and a lot of other Hershey products) donāt even taste like chocolate to me. White chocolate is fine, and the basis for many Japanese Kitkat flavours; high-cacao dark chocolate is too bitter.
I seem to be a rarity in the UK since I also like Hersheyās chocolate.
I like milk chocolate, especially if itās filled with liqueurs. White chocolate I am OK with but Iām not a fan of dark chocolate, or what the US considers chocolate.
Very much pro and I like all kinds, but my preference is dark. I even enjoy 99% cocoa chocolates!

Same here. Quality dark chocolate is amazing, but unfortunately most dark chocolate in the US is bitter processed garbage. Next to that, I prefer white chocolate (which isnāt really chocolate, but eh) followed by milk chocolate.
Of course, I canāt really have chocolate due to diabetes, but I digress.

Iām chocolate neutral, itās ok, though I like rosewater more, but I kinda like that new āgoldenā chocolate some companies are using that substitutes peanuts for caco beans.
