Are you pro-chocolate or anti-chocolate?

Or, do you just prefer certain types of chocolate over others, and why?

Dark chocolate rules! :innocent:
White chocolate is the antichrist (and not real chocolate, IMO) :smiling_imp:

Dark chocolate covered cherries are the absolute best candy ever invented.

As for why, personal preference for the richer taste of dark chocolate over milk chocolate; although as I’ve gotten older --approaching the tail end of middle age–I don’t tend to want chocolate as much. I’ll always want dark chocolate covered cherries, though. :sunglasses:

I could be either for or against it depending on how you look at it
Most chocolate things are too rich for me and I don’t like the bitterness of dark chocolate so I only really like the super milky stuff. I don’t mind white chocolate but I don’t go out of my way to find it either.

All chocolate is good chocolate.

Except US chocolate, which tastes of vomit.

Sometimes I might feel more like dark, sometimes milk, sometimes even the vanilla flavour of white; but if ever you need to get rid of any (non-US) chocolate, I’ll be your garbage disposal

Im not opposed to chocolate/cocoa itself as a flavor but Im not really a sweet person. So i like some very dark chocolate but most chocolate contexts are too sweet for my taste.

Anti, because it kills me.

Milk chocolate fan, but I have encountered some kinds of chocolate that I did not enjoy. Some imported budget chocolates have a dusty ā€œcocoaā€ flavour that isn’t nice. Hershey kisses (and a lot of other Hershey products) don’t even taste like chocolate to me. White chocolate is fine, and the basis for many Japanese Kitkat flavours; high-cacao dark chocolate is too bitter.

I seem to be a rarity in the UK since I also like Hershey’s chocolate.

I like milk chocolate, especially if it’s filled with liqueurs. White chocolate I am OK with but I’m not a fan of dark chocolate, or what the US considers chocolate.

Very much pro and I like all kinds, but my preference is dark. I even enjoy 99% cocoa chocolates!

Very much prefer dark chocolate too.

I love chocolate, but can’t eat much before I start feeling a bit queasy. Not the biggest fan of dark chocolate though.

Same here. Quality dark chocolate is amazing, but unfortunately most dark chocolate in the US is bitter processed garbage. Next to that, I prefer white chocolate (which isn’t really chocolate, but eh) followed by milk chocolate.

Of course, I can’t really have chocolate due to diabetes, but I digress.

Dark chocolate, yes please!

Milk chocolate, yes please!

White chocolate - don’t be surprised if I insert that abomination in you.

I love chocolate covered ginger.

Can’t stand dark chocolate. I love milk and white, though.

All chocolate is good but I have a preference for Dark. That may or may not be related to the fact that my family prefers Milk, so who do they give the dark to?

An excellent strategy.

I’m chocolate neutral, it’s ok, though I like rosewater more, but I kinda like that new ā€˜golden’ chocolate some companies are using that substitutes peanuts for caco beans.

Because caoco prices are rising.

My favorite flavor of ice cream is pistachio.
