429 Errors

I’ve recently (today) gotten a number of 429 errors both from the NAR website and this forum.

429 Too Many Requests

You have been rate-limited for making too many requests in a short time frame.

Website owner? If you think you have reached this message in error, please contact support.

I’m not doing anything different from what I normally do. The error comes up both on Chrome and DuckDuckGo’s browser (which I switched to when ads started covering up stories and interfering with writing comments on them).

I submitted this post a few days ago, but it went into moderation. I’m happy to say that I haven’t had any problems in the last 48 hours.

That happened to me a week or so ago, but it seems to have been a one-off.
